Made to measure

Service where a garment is specifically made for you to your measurements, available for formal and everyday wear. The initial consultation where we and the customer agree on design, material, price etc.. must be scheduled at the latest 15 weeks before the event date. Otherwise an express fee will apply and we cannot guarantee that the garment will meet the customer requirements in terms of design and materials.

Alterations 

We offer alterations and repairs to both garments and soft furnishings. 

Please ensure that garments are either freshly laundered or dry cleaned before they are presented for repair or alteration. This also ensure that new items will not shrink after the first wash following the alterations.

Custom work

Available for soft furnishing such as curtains, cushion covers... or any item with specific requirements.

Dressing and steaming 

This service is available for wedding parties, where the bridal party gowns are steamed on the wedding day and we assist the party to get dressed for the ceremony. We can also carry minor last minute repair if needed (we will not unpick garments or bring a sewing machine as part of our sewing kit). It is possible to book only a steaming service at your home or venue the previous day.

The venue address and times must be confirmed at least a week in advance, as well as the payment in full.

Appointments at home or venue

For formal and bridal fittings, we ask you to bring your shoes, otherwise we cannot take responsibility for any inaccuracy in the length of the hem.

We advise you not to wear any makeup or tanning products that could stain the fabric during the fitting sessions. 

If you plan to change your weight (either bulking or dieting), we kindly ask you to choose the date of your fitting to reach your goal weight and maintain it afterwards. Any significant change in measurements and further alterations will be charged as usual.

Bridal appointments must be scheduled at least 5 weeks before the wedding date, and at least 7 days for groomswear and bridesmaids and other formal outfits. The express fee applies when the order does not fit into this schedule at the demand of the customer, or following missed or cancelled appointments. The express fee is 30% of the total price.

Prices

Each order will be priced individually. We can provide an estimate from a picture or a description, but only quote after an in-person consultation. The payment is due in full at the end of the first fitting for alterations. For made-to-measure garments the first payment (50% of the total price) must be made at the end of the initial consultation and the final payment at the end of the first fitting.

If you are not satisfied with the price quoted, you must discuss it with us prior to any work being started. We are always happy to discuss about your budget and your options. We do not retrospectively negotiate our prices once the work has been started and/or completed.

We accept payment by bank transfer or in cash.

After final payment and collection, the garment is your property and you are responsible for any damage found. It is your responsibility to check the goods thoroughly prior to hand over. We do not offer refunds.
